Re-captured this old glitch in HD quality since I was in the neighborhood, and expanded it a little bit too with a new effect.

0:00 - to start the glitch, break out of the first Pegasus ride via the usual means. This causes the Pegasus to lift off without Kratos. After a preset time, the scene switches to the flying level while Kratos is falling down, causing him to die horribly in the process.

Or, if you had examined one of the corpses in the area, you have a text message on the screen that prevents Kratos from dying. This lets you enjoy the unique visual scene that you only see after having done this break-out a little longer. But nothing special happens even if you wait around a bit... and after closing the message, Kratos finally dies.

0:41 - if you do the break-out and then return back to the save point and re-checkpoint yourself... After retry, things seem normal at first, but you're still under timer, and when it runs out the same thing happens as before.

1:19 - one new thing you can do in this state is to ride Pegasus a second time as the timer is running. This causes Kratos to ride the Pegasus twice and the timing of the cutscene goes wrong. But the effects aren't that drastic: basically the pre-flight cutscene looks funny and you get a new checkpoint later during the flight section than usual.

1:47 - and finally for the new Pegasus break-out effect. If you quickly spam the save point while the timer is running out, you can become checkpointed after having seen the FMV and the scene changes to the flying level. So what's the use?

If you retry, you are back at ground level, as if you had never left. You hear the flight section music in the background and Pegasus too is just hanging around like usual. But when you try to ride Pegasus...? After the riding intro, the game respawns Pegasus and Kratos back to where they left from. That's right, you don't get taken to the flight scene because you already watched that transitioning FMV and the game won't play it again.

You can do flying section moves while stuck on ground level, which looks very undignified for our ex-God of War hero. You're stuck like this, though, so you got to retry sooner or later.

2:57 - if you break-out of Pegasus after having seen the FMV, you eventually see it respawn back to its initial position.
