Homefront - incidental glitches
Some random oddities and observations from Homefront's single-player campaign. You could say it's a bit like Spec Ops: The Line, if that game was completely brainless and tactless. I found the whole experience fairly miserable, and couldn't even muster the willpower to finish it. ...Hey, even a bad game hobbyist like me has his limits.
0:00 - a small instance of fighting textures.
0:11 - there's a loophole in this game that allows you to keep game running in the background while you're browsing some sub-menu. Basically press exit menu and enter a sub-menu simultaneously to do this. So far there is no known use for this, though.
0:39 - game crashed in the main menu while trying some similar input out.
0:54 - I'm not sure what happens here, but it seems that my character gets killed by a glitchy insta-death limit (because those are always such good game design elements, right?) even after I've cleared an area of enemies.
1:06 - some more texture fighting during this sniper section.
