Godot 4.1.1 - Testing Background/Environment Sprites
Testing Godot's Sprites with Background Sprites.
Few problems is that they're not the same as they look in Unity. The assets are the same PNGS but they show different results.
Character Sprites tend to be randomly imported or changing over time for some reason. I set it to Lossless which fixes it but sometime after it will revert itself to a compressed setting. I may still have missed some things and it's still experimental, but I don't want to end up redoing all the Animations and Sprites all over again.
There's also the Sprites showing up some lines on the edge/border. Nearest Texture Filter fixes some of them but I do want to use Linear Filter to some Sprites. There's a big possibility that has something to do with the "Repeat" Option but I'm using 4.1.1 which for some reason, Sprite3D doesn't have an option for "Repeat" to be disabled, where Sprite2D has.
