Lots of really neat features in this one. New weapons, portable medkits/batteries, a battery integration system where you can choose where to particularly strengthen, limb system for enemies, a lighter that's pretty much its own separate weapon instead of the usual flashlight, just boatloads of new stuff.

Yeah, I did try to figure out how the tank works to see if I can finagle that in, but it sadly requires too much specific entity setup that I don't think it's possible to wirejam that in without actually compiling an entirely different map and then pretending to connect that with the thing I'm wirejamming. Not necessarily impossible, just something that's beyond my ability to bother.

Anyways, the mapset that we're mixing today's mod with. The World Machine! I quite like this one, having that tint of "exploring the underbelly of high level AI hardware" that a lot of old school movies have. It can be easy to get lost in, especially with some of the new implements like cranks or power switches that I don't think have been introduced particularly well, but getting lost for me takes only a moment to mend, so it's not too much of a biggie for me.

Some parts did had to be altered to work with Invasion, unfortunately. Invasion's allied NPC behaviors seems to have been changed for one reason or another. They won't talk outside of the use of scripted sequences nor have the ability to follow me, completely damaging parts where you have to lead them to a keypad to progress. I just have the doors be opened in the wirejam.

Also, I'm using Xash3D today. FWGS, to be precise. Pardons if it seems even more uncanny than it already is. Invasion doesn't work with my other funny copy and I've already whined plenty about Steam not liking my PC configs and giving a 30 second preload time for anything Goldsource that I play, so playing through that is out of the question. Does have some benefits playing it this way, like having fixed FOV without using additional patches.
