Dwelling Sin | Zombies: Re-Animated | No Failure Runs | Part 8 FINALE
Did you know that the birds from the island ending maps are actually modified mancubus projectiles? And that there's actually mancs on the different islands shooting them at you? And that you can kill them to get 100% kills somehow? Remember my regret that SSGs don't pop up earlier? That's because SSGs are the type of shotguns that can pop up with scopes and chokes for long range sniping.
There's all sorts of technical annoyances with this part that I wish just weren't. There's supposed to be 3 maps, but I can only fit 2 in the thumbnail since adding one more would just be overwhelming. Can't just fit the ending maps by themselves 'cause I spent the last several minutes shooting at bird spawners.
There's actually another map after the intermission text, which is just the island map again 'cause this mapset doesn't have a way to end the game like modern mapsets can. I was already out of slugs by this point, and I don't wanna spend 10 minutes shooting buckshot at the trees hoping I could get 100% kills in the map that can't even be finished. So yeah, I ended the video after the intermission text, the mod is pretty much finished by that point.
What do I think about the combo overall? I enjoyed it alright. Aside from that one hiccup with Rockers Attack, along with a crash in one of the recordings 'cause Kw Arms had to use weird hacks with the inventory, everything pretty much went as well as it could be. It could be better, I could've added in SSG spawns and work with more weapons than I did in this run. Couldn't finish the STIE, again. Could've performed better in some of the maps and got all the seagull spawners in the next island map.
At the same time, I'm glad that the run went for the most part well. I don't think the next DSin run's gonna have zombies though, whenever I'll do that next.
