In this mini-sequel to the original Half-Life, developed by GearBox, we step into the shoes of Corporal Adrian Shephard as (after a fun boot camp sequence, nowhere near as truly grueling as the training in Full Metal Jacket, to which it owes a lot stylistically) he is sent straight into the hell of Black Mesa to help take the escalating situation under control. Unfortunately, the escalating situation quickly gets the better of him, as our old friends - headcrabs, bullsquids, vortigaunts, barnacles - show the unlucky marines who is really pulling strings at Black Mesa now. The episode covers the entirety of the first two chapters of the game ("Welcome To Black Mesa" and "We're Pulling Out").
[NOTE: This is a re-recorded higher resolution version of my original playthrough of Half-Life, with all the latest game patches from Valve as well as some third-party high texture mods and better lighting filters - nothing too drastic though, so as not to compromise the classic style of the game.]
