In the final episode of The Blackwell Deception, having finally sent Tiffany and Jamie to the realm of eternal rest, Rosa and Joey return to Lisa Tenzin for some answers - and end up meeting Gavin face-to-face, as the sinister figure behind the murders decides to take matters into his own hands for a change. This leads to one final confrontation in which Lisa ends up taking the fall; Rosa finds the basic moral principles of her life questioned and faltering; and Joey, for the first time in his ghostly life, finds out what spiritual existence without an active host can actually mean. It all ends reasonably well, with the bad guys punished and the good guys enduring on the strength of their faith, but it does leave poor Rosangela in the throes of questioning the very meaning of her own existence - and it will take at least one more game in the series to find a suitable answer.
