In this chapter, Rosa and Joey investigate the deaths of two young girls, Tiffany and Jamie, who were referred by Lisa Tenzin to the mysterious Gavin - and find out that a common thread between both was their general dissatisfaction with their lives, leading one into a disastrous romance with a family man, and another to reckless hedonism and self-destruction. Unfortunately, helping them out on their way back into the light brings the investigation nowhere near close to tracking down their actual murderer...
