4In this chapter, Rosa's investigation leads her to find out that her reporter friend Jeremy was indeed murdered, even if, as of now, there is no way to convince him of such a sad state of affairs. It turns out that his last contact was an old lady called Penelope Haines, now living in a nursing home, and that she may or may not have paranormal capacities of her own, though clearly different from Rosangela's. Further investigation reveals that Penelope is tied to some mysterious cult leader who goes by the name of "Gavin", but in order to get any information on him, Rosa must first complete a risky mission for the old lady, by way of breaking into her former apartment...
