10I wonder just how chaotic this map is in its original incarnation. Bloodsuckers, "they don't go in the light", that sort. I imagine this would've been a bit of a frantic chase as you go from light to light destroying bat nests.
With HDest, it's a bit of a gunfight in the dark instead, except for some reason there's friendly marines here as well. Not complaining though, fighting gunmen in the dark like this is absolutely unspiffy with a mod like HDest. Have to wonder what actors these allies were originally going to be, unless the actual mapset does have occasional friendlies as well.
Another port shenaniganery happened with the secrets. Looks like the mapper don't know the definition of "sensible marking" when it comes to applying secret sectors. I think this was actually a thing since the first map, but considering the second map didn't have that, it's a toss whether it was there from the start or not. I'll have to see the original game sometime to check if these happened there as well.
