Castle. Where do I start with this?

As if enemies shooting behind unseeable foliage isn't enough, in comes a cybie and two archies to lighten up the mood. The enemy assault the moment you grab the yellow key also became a concern fast. The dunderblunder wielding arachs were also interesting to collapse from. In general, a map that I have no shame in taking half an hour to constantly BFG the heck out of.

Y'know, I originally ran this mapset 'cause I want to appreciate all the nifty mapping. A slow mod like HDest gives me the opportunity to see all the small little details I otherwise could've missed playing something fast, and I want to love this mapset. However, playing it in something as extreme as HDest really does bring out the wrinkles. Stuff like the walkthrough wall hooligans in the forest and the "enemy full visibility - player low visibility" combat encounters slowly but surely got on my nerves. I'm not sure how long I can persist, knowing the slaughterwad syndrome most megawads have. Here's hopin' there's tons of invulspheres at the later maps, hmm?

So far, I appreciate that atleast it's all NFR-possible. If I try to do something like this in my Valiant or Plutonias 1 & 2 runs, I think I'd have gone genuinely nuts by the 5th or 6th map. Here's hopin' it'll last the entire journey.
