8 months. That's how long it took me before I finally got off my lazy bottom and coded in a rocket launcher so I can alert the arena bit and beat this map at last. Boy, I sure do work extremely slowly, don't I? Doesn't that just give you the best of confidence for TRP? Well, if anyone is still even waiting for that (I'm still working on that, if you're wonderin', slow but steady).

To get back to the main subject, the rocket launcher acts as triple purpose device here in this mod of a mod. First is to alert enemies if you ever come across a bit like this that demands that you sound the alarm, second is to deal enormous damage to something you know you're not gonna get past and would alert everyone trying to deal anyways, and the third one is the ability for you to finally conquer Icon of Sin maps. It's not quite perfected yet, hence why I'm still linking the old version here, but once I get that sorted, then I'll put the new stuff here. Maybe make a thread in the ZDoom forums or something, I dunno.

Uh hum, while earlier versions of Sneaky Doom pretty much guarantees that you won't ever be able to even touch the Icon of Sin, this modified version of mine ensures victory even if you alarm the Icon, something which was inevitable anyways since the IoS doesn't have any stealth mechanics attached to it in Sneaky Doom (now that I think of it, makes the playlist description kinda inaccurate, rather silly). I suppose that'll come next in the event that I ever touch the code for this mod again.

In any case, that's Darkmoon finally done and dusted in ye' sneaksiest of Doomest. Well, atleast until they update the demo or release the full version. The unfinished journey that's still not quite finished but atleast the open road traversed at last.

Here's hoping it doesn't take another 8 months or more, hmm?
