Hideous Destructor | Paranoia | No Failure Runs | Part 4
13Okay, I do have to fight the cybie here. No running away and cheesing the map scripting this time. I had a run where I got HEATs to take care of the cybie, but I died in that one 'cause I forgot that the linedef at the end of the map that spawns a baron is actually 6 separate ones that can spawn barons individually. Ended up getting ambushed by 3 instead of the expected 2 in a small room, chucking a good half an hour run out the window.
In this run, the ammobox spawns some ZM mags instead. The RNG'lyeh gives and the RNG'lyeh takes. Got a Thunderbuster, atleast. Can't complain. Wouldn't mind having a Lib, considering I got a backpack filled with ammo for the stuff, but I can work with this. Tempted to use it for a trap midway, but I found a lotta grenades to play around with. Might as well use some tripwires, since I rarely do that in these runs.
I forgot to mention it in the previous parts, but I also got Potions of Persia loaded. I can't remember if I've described what it is, I think I have, but just incase: If you've played classic Prince of Persia (I mean the original trilogy that starts from 1989, not the Sands one), the effects might seem familiar. Couldn't get all of them sadly, but I did add new ones to compensate. Did have an extra reskin set to make 'em look like HL1 antidotes instead for this run.
