How to Add Lock Screen for More Security on Motorola Android Phone (Best Method)

The most secure screen lock method is generally a strong Password, followed by a long PIN, and then a Pattern.

A strong alphanumeric Password is the most secure method because it offers the highest number of possible combinations.
How to Set Up a Lock Screen (Password, PIN, or Pattern)
Follow these general steps to set a new lock screen on your Motorola phone:
Open Settings: Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Gear icon (Settings).
Go to Security: Scroll down and tap on Security & privacy (on some models, this may just be Security).
Find Device Lock: Tap on Device unlock or Screen lock.
If you already have a lock set up, you will need to enter your current PIN, pattern, or password before proceeding.
Select Screen Lock: Tap on Screen lock to see your options.
Choose Your Lock Type:
