How to Remove Lock Screen Pattern on Samsung Phone (Turn Off Password)
You can easily remove the lock screen pattern or password on your Samsung phone by changing the screen lock type in your settings.
Method 1: Removing the Pattern/Password (The Normal Way)
You must know your current pattern, PIN, or password to do this.
Open Settings: Swipe up from your Home screen to access the app drawer and tap the Settings app (the gear icon).
Go to Lock Screen Settings: Scroll down and tap Lock screen (or Lock screen and AOD / Lock screen & security on some models).
Select Screen Lock Type: Tap on Screen lock type.
Enter Your Current Credential: You will be prompted to enter your current Pattern, PIN, or Password for security confirmation.
Choose "None" or "Swipe": On the next screen, you will see a list of screen lock options. To completely remove the lock:
Select None (your phone will open immediately when you press the power or home button).
Select Swipe (you will have to swipe the screen to open the phone, but there is no security).
Confirm Removal: Your phone may show a prompt to confirm the removal of biometric data (like fingerprints and face recognition). Tap Remove data or Yes, remove to finalize.
Your phone is now unlocked with no pattern or password required.
