Steps to Change Your Screen Lock Type
Open Settings:

Swipe down from the top of your screen to open the Quick Panel.
Tap the Settings gear icon (⚙ ).
Navigate to Lock Screen Settings:

Scroll down and tap on Lock screen and AOD (or Lock screen on older models).

Access Screen Lock Type:
Tap on Screen lock type.
Confirm Your Current Lock:

You will be prompted to enter your current security credential (PIN, pattern, or password) to proceed.

Select a New Lock Type:

Choose the new unlock method you want to use from the list of options. Common options include:

Pattern (Medium security)
PIN (Medium to High security)

Set Up the New Lock:
