How to Change App Icon Size for Your Android Phone (100% Works!)
Adjust Display Size (Changes Icon and Text Size)
The Display Size setting scales app icons, text, and other on-screen elements system-wide, including home screen and app drawer icons.
Samsung (One UI)
Open Settings:
Tap the Settings app (gear icon) on your Samsung phone (e.g., Galaxy S24, A54).
Go to Display Settings:
Tap Display.
Adjust Display Size:
Scroll to Font and Screen Zoom (or Screen Zoom on older One UI versions).
Move the Screen Zoom slider to the right to make app icons and elements larger, or to the left for smaller icons.
A preview at the top shows how icons and text will look (affects home screen, app drawer, and system menus).
Apply Changes:
Tap Apply or exit; changes take effect immediately.
Check Home Screen:
Return to the home screen to confirm app icons are the desired size
Adjust Font Size (Affects Text and Sometimes Icons)
Font Size settings primarily change text size but can indirectly affect app icon spacing or appearance in some apps and launchers.
Samsung (One UI)
Open Settings:
Go to Settings - Display.
Access Font Size:
Tap Font and Screen Zoom.
Under Font Size, move the slider to the right for larger text or left for smaller text.
Check Impact:
Larger font sizes may slightly increase icon spacing or affect app layouts (e.g., in the app drawer).
Tap Apply to save.
