How to Reset your Disable iPhone using iTunes on PC
Open iTunes on Your PC:
Launch iTunes. If prompted, update to the latest version.
If your iPhone was previously synced with this PC, iTunes should detect it in Recovery Mode. If not, you may see a prompt about a device in Recovery Mode.
Locate the iPhone in iTunes:
In iTunes, look for your iPhone in the top-left corner (a small iPhone icon) or in the sidebar (older iTunes versions).
If iTunes doesn’t detect the iPhone, ensure the USB connection is secure, try a different cable or port, or restart the PC and iPhone.
Restore the iPhone:
When iTunes detects the disabled iPhone, it will display a message: “There is a problem with the iPhone [name] that requires it to be updated or restored.”
Select Restore (not Update, as updating won’t remove the passcode).
iTunes will download the latest iOS firmware for your iPhone (this may take 5–15 minutes, depending on your internet speed).
If the download takes too long (over 15 minutes), the iPhone may exit Recovery Mode. Disconnect, re-enter Recovery Mode (step 1), and try again.
Once downloaded, iTunes erases the iPhone and installs the latest iOS version. This process takes 10–20 minutes.
