How to Change your Profile Picture on PS5 (Best Method)
0On the PlayStation 5, there are two types of profile images: avatars and profile pictures.
Avatars: These are a selection of pre-made, PlayStation-themed images that are visible to all players on the PlayStation Network.
Profile Pictures: These are custom images you can upload. They are only visible to your friends and not to the general public.
You can change both of these, but the method for each is slightly different.
On the PS5 Console (To change your Avatar)
This is the best way to choose from the pre-selected PlayStation avatars.
From the PS5 home screen, navigate to your Profile Picture in the top-right corner.
Select Profile.
On your profile page, find and select Edit Profile (represented by a pencil icon).
Select Avatar.
You will be shown a wide selection of avatars to choose from. Pick the one you want and press OK to save the changes.
