Voice commands on the PS5 are a "Preview" feature that allows you to control certain functions of your console using your voice. This feature is currently limited to certain regions (such as the United States and United Kingdom).

Here is the best method to turn Voice Commands on or off:

How to Turn ON Voice Commands
From the PS5 home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner).

Scroll down and select Voice Command (Preview).
Turn on the Enable Voice Command toggle.

Once enabled, the "Listen for 'Hey PlayStation!'" setting will also automatically turn on. This allows you to activate the feature by simply speaking the command.

You can also activate voice commands manually by pressing the PS button to open the control center and then selecting the voice command icon.

How to Turn OFF Voice Commands
From the PS5 home screen, go to Settings.

Scroll down and select Voice Command (Preview).
Turn off the Enable Voice Command toggle.
