How to Change your Avatar on PS5 Profile Picture (Best Method)
1You can change your PlayStation 5 avatar or profile picture directly on your console or through the PlayStation App on your phone. The console offers a selection of pre-made avatars, while the mobile app allows you to upload a custom picture.
On the PS5 Console (For Pre-made Avatars)
From the PS5 home screen, go to your Profile Picture in the top-right corner.
Select Profile.
On your profile page, navigate to the pencil icon to the right and select Edit Profile.
Go down to Avatar.
You will see a variety of PlayStation-themed avatars you can choose from, including characters from games. Select the one you want and press OK to save the changes.
Using the PlayStation App (For Custom Pictures)
This is the only way to upload a custom image from your phone or computer.
Download and Install the PlayStation App on your mobile device (iOS or Android).
Sign in with your PlayStation Network (PSN) account.
Tap on your Profile Picture at the bottom-right of the screen.
Tap on Edit Profile.
Select Profile Picture.
You will be able to choose between using a pre-existing PlayStation avatar or uploading a custom image from your phone's gallery.
Select your desired image, crop and position it as needed, and then save your changes.
