How to Connect PS4 Controller to Phone! (Easy Tutorial)
Here’s how to connect a PS4 controller to your phone without brackets:
For Android:
Turn on Bluetooth by going to your phone’s Settings, then Bluetooth, and make sure it’s enabled. Put the controller in pairing mode by ensuring it’s off with no light on the back, then pressing and holding the PS button in the center and the Share button to the left of the touchpad together for about 5 seconds until the light bar flashes rapidly.
Pair the controller by going to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, tapping Pair new device or looking for available devices, and selecting DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller when it appears; the light bar will turn solid, usually blue, once connected. Test it by opening a game that supports controllers, like Call of Duty Mobile, and checking if it works; some games may need controller settings enabled manually.
For iPhone:
Enable Bluetooth by opening Settings, then Bluetooth, and turning it on. Enter pairing mode with the controller off by pressing and holding the PS button and Share button together until the light bar flashes quickly, about 5 seconds. Connect the controller by going to your iPhone’s Bluetooth menu, looking under Other Devices, and tapping DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller when it shows up; the light bar will turn solid, often red, once paired. Verify it works by launching a compatible game, like Fortnite or Apple Arcade titles.
