How to 2 Player Split Screen in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 on PS5 or PS4 (Easy Easy)
Split-screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is only available on PS5, not PS4, due to performance limitations.
Steps for 2-Player Split-Screen on PS5:
Connect two DualSense controllers to the PS5 and ensure they are synced.
Launch Black Ops 6 and select Multiplayer or Zombies from the main menu (Campaign does not support split-screen).
In the mode’s lobby, turn on the second controller and press X to prompt Player 2 to join.
Sign in Player 2 with a PSN account and a separate Activision account (create one at activision.com if needed; guest accounts are not supported).
Confirm both players’ names appear in the lobby (top-right corner).
For Zombies, select Play in a Squad and toggle Squad Fill off to play only with the two players. For Multiplayer, choose a bot match (online lobbies are not supported).
Start the match; the screen will split vertically.
Notes:
Requires an internet connection; offline split-screen is not available.
Bugs may occur (e.g., Player 2 not earning XP or weapon change issues). If issues persist, try joining at the initial Call of Duty menu screen before selecting a mode.
Enable Game Mode on your TV to reduce input lag (Settings, Picture, Game Mode).
Both players need separate PSN and Activision accounts.
Test with a bot match or Zombies to confirm setup. Share your TV model or setup for optimization tips.
