Connecting your PS5 controller to your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward. Here are the steps:

Enable Bluetooth on your Steam Deck:
Press the Steam button to open the menu.
Navigate to Settings - Bluetooth.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Put your PS5 controller in pairing mode:

Press and hold the PS button and the Create button (the button to the left of the touchpad) simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing rapidly.
Pair the controller with your Steam Deck:

On your Steam Deck, look for the Wireless Controller in the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Select it to pair.
