How to Connect Remote to TCL TV (Best Method)
0Connecting your remote to a TCL TV is usually a straightforward process, but the "best method" depends on the type of remote you have. TCL TVs use either a standard infrared (IR) remote or a voice/enhanced remote that connects via Bluetooth.
For Voice or Enhanced Remotes (Bluetooth Pairing)
This is the most common method for modern TCL Google TVs and Android TVs. These remotes have a microphone button for voice commands and don't require a direct line of sight to the TV.
Turn on your TV.
Press and hold the Home and OK buttons simultaneously on your remote. The Home button usually looks like a house icon, and the OK button is the center button in the directional pad.
Continue to hold the buttons for a few seconds. The remote and TV will initiate a pairing process.
Wait for the on-screen confirmation. A message will appear on your TV screen to let you know the remote has been successfully paired.
