It allows you to have two different types of armor in Minecraft. One for actually protecting you and one for just looks. This means you can make it look like you are wearing old armor when in actuality you are wearing diamond armor. It’s honestly something I never would have thought about, but it makes a ton of sense and is a really cool mod over. So, without anymore delay, here is how to download and install the Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod in Minecraft 1.17.1!
The first step of getting Cosmetic Armor Reworked is actually downloading and installing Forge. The good news is you can find a complete guide to downloading, installing, and setting up Forge for Minecraft 1.17.1 in the description above. That video will show you everything that you need to know about getting Forge, and it even shows you how to fix some of the common issues you may have when installing Forge for Cosmetic Armor Reworked.
After you have Forge, we can move on to downloading the Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod. You can find the Cosmetic Armor Reworked mod linked in the description above. Once you are on the download page, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.17’ section. Under this, you will see the Cosmetic Armor Reworked 1.17.1 download. Click the orange download button to the right of this version, and Cosmetic Armor Reworked will start downloading. Be sure to keep or save the file depending on your browser.
You can now move on to learning how to install Cosmetic Armor Reworked in 1.17.1. To do this, open up Minecraft with Forge, and on the main menu, click on the ‘mods’ button.
