About this video: I do want to note that while this video was originally for 1.16.2/1.16.3, it is completely compatible with Minecraft 1.16.4. The process is the same and it is fully working in both versions.
How can you download and install Immersive Engineering in Minecraft 1.16.4? Well, we answer that exact question in this video. What is Immersive Engineering 1.16.4? Well, it is a Minecraft tech mod that focuses on realism instead of random things added into Minecraft that are ‘inspired’ by tech. What do I mean by this? Well, it offers actual hanging power lines, bug multi block structures for doing things like crushing ore, mining mining ore, or processing ore. Immersive Engineering is about making tech mods more balanced and closer to reality.
So now that you know what Immersive Engineering is, it is time to get it downloaded and installed in Minecraft! The first step of getting Immersive Engineering is actually downloading and install Forge. Luckily, we have an in-depth Forge 1.16.4 tutorial linked in the description above that will help you get Forge quickly and easily!
After you have Forge setup, it is time to download Immersive Engineering. You can find the official Immersive Engineering 1.16.4 download link in the description above. Once you click that link, you will be taken to Immersive Engineering’s download page. From here, scroll down and find the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you want to download the most recent version of Immersive Engineering for 1.16.4 by clicking the purple download button to the right of it. Immersive Engineering will then begin downloading after a few seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.
Once Immersive Engineering is downloaded, we are learn how to install Immersive Engineering for Minecraft 1.16.4. To do this, you want to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the Play button, select Forge, and click Play. Minecraft will then open with Forge. From here, click the ‘mods’ button on the Minecraft main menu. Then, click the ‘Open Mods Folder’ button in the bottom left of Minecraft. That will open your mods folder.
To install Immersive Engineering in Minecraft 1.16.4, just drag-and-drop the Immersive Engineering file you downloaded into this mods folder. It is that easy.
You aren’t completely done just yet though. You still need to close out of Minecraft and reopen it with the Forge profile/installation selected. When you do this, Minecraft 1.16.4 will open up with Immersive Engineering installed!
