Well, Minecraft mods add incredible things to Minecraft 1.17.1, and being back to use more than one mod at a time can just compound these awesome things. So, let’s get right on into how to download and install multiple Minecraft mods in 1.17.1!
The first step of getting more than one Minecraft mod at a time is actually downloading and install the Forge mod loader. You can find our complete guide for downloading, installing, and setting up Forge 1.17.1 in the description above. That tutorial even goes over the issues you may have when installing Forge and how to fix some of those issues in Minecraft 1.17.1. Our Forge tutorial really is the best Forge 1.17.1 tutorial out there, and it will help you out for sure!
After you have Forge installed, we can move on to how to download multiple Minecraft mods. You can find a few Minecraft 1.17.1 mods in the description above. However, you can install any Minecraft Forge mods for 1.17.1 using what we teach you in this video. It is worth noting though that this is for Minecraft Forge mods for 1.17.1. If you aren’t downloading Forge mods that are for version 1.17.1, this tutorial will not work.
Mods Minecraft mods, including all the mods linked above, are hosted on CurseForge. For mods on CurseForge, once you are on the mod’s download page, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.17’ section. Under this, you will see the Minecraft 1.17.1 version of the mod you want. Click the orange download button, and your mod will begin downloading. You will need to save or keep the file depending on your browser.
With your mods downloaded, we can show you how to install multiple mods in Minecraft 1.17.1. This is pretty easy. Just open up the Minecraft launcher, select your ‘Forge’ installation, and click Play. Minecraft will then open up. On the Minecraft main menu, you will have a ‘Mods’ button. Click that, and you will be taken to your mods list. In the bottom right of this page, you will see an ‘Open Mods Folder’ button. Click that, and your mods folder will open up. To install more than one Minecraft mod, just drag-and-drop all of your mods into this mods folder.
All you need to do after adding your mods to the mods folder is restart Minecraft. Just make sure that you are playing your Forge profile. When Minecraft 1.17.1 opens back up, you will have 1.17.1 mods installed! You will be able to click the mods tab and see them on your mod’s list as well as see multiple Minecraft mods being used in game!
