The first step of getting Lucky Block 1.17.1 is downloading and install Forge. You can find our complete 1.17.1 Forge tutorial in the description above. That tutorial goes over every single step of getting Forge for 1.17.1 Lucky Block, and even some of the issues you could have when install Forge and how to fix them. Truthfully, there isn’t a better Forge tutorial out there!
After you have Forge, we can move on to downloading the Lucky Block mod. Lucky Blocks is unique because it isn’t hosted on CurseForge. You can find the Lucky Block download link in the description above. When you click the link in the description above, it will take you to our text tutorial for 1.17.1 Lucky Block. Once you are there, click on the ‘Download Lucky Block’ button to be taken to the official Lucky Blocks website to download the mod.
Scroll down to the very, very bottom of this page and click the orange ‘Download’ button in the bottom left of the page. You will then be taken to the Lucky Block versions page. On this page, you will see 1.17.1 for Lucky Block. Click the ‘Download’ hyperlink on this page next to the 1.17.1 version of Lucky Blocks. This will finally take you to the official 1.17.1 Lucky Block mod download page. Click the yellow download button in the top right of this page, and Lucky Block 1.17.1 will start downloading. You will need to save or keep the file depending on your browser.
Finally, we can learn how to install the Lucky Block mod in Minecraft 1.17.1. This is pretty easy. Just press the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open up your Run app. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’ and hit enter. This will open up your Roaming folder. In this folder, you will see a .minecraft folder. Open that folder, and you should have a mods folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one! Lastly, drag-and-drop the Lucky Block file you downloaded into the mods folder. You have now installed Lucky Block in Minecraft 1.17.1!
You aren’t complete finished just yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the Play button, select the ‘Forge’ version here, and click ‘Play’. Minecraft 1.17.1 will then open up with Lucky Block installed! You can now join in game, get some Lucky Blocks, and see what you get!
