The first step of getting a resource packs in Minecraft PC 1.18.1 is downloading a texture pack. You can find a link above in the description that will take you to a complete list of 15 texture packs for Minecraft Java Edition. No matter what kind of Minecraft resource pack you want, there is going to be a great option on our list From medieval texture packs to modern resource packs to classic vanilla-style resource packs, there is a resource pack for everyone in 1.18.1. Now that you know how to download resource packs for Minecraft PC 1.18.1, we can move on to how to install resource packs in Minecraft. This is actually a very simple thing to do. Start off by opening up Minecraft 1.18.1. After landing on the Minecraft main menu, click on ‘Options’. Next, click the ‘Resource Packs’ button. Finally, click on the ‘Open Packs Folder’ button in the bottom left of Minecraft.
Your ‘resourcepacks’ folder will then open. From here, it is very easy to put resource packs in Minecraft 1.18.1. Just drag-and-drop the resource packs you downloaded into this resourcepacks folder. It is that easy to install texture packs in Minecraft 1.18.1. When you go back to Minecraft, you will see that the resource packs you installed are in the ‘Available Resource Packs’ section. Hover over this and click the arrow that appears to move the texture pack into the ‘Selected Resource Packs’ section. Finally, click ‘Done’ at the bottom of the screen, and your Minecraft resource packs will activate in 1.18.1!
You can now start playing Minecraft PC 1.18.1 with your resource packs. You can uninstall them in game by hovering over the packs in the selected packs section and clicking the arrow to move them out of this section. Clicking ‘Done’ will now uninstall your resource pack in Minecraft 1.18.1!
