How to Download CapCut on PC and Laptop 2025
7In this video I show you how to download CapCut on PC and laptop. To get CapCut on PC you will need to open the Microsoft Store and search for CapCut. Once done you can select CapCut, which should be the first option, and click the Install button. This will begin the download and installation process, which may take a while.
After the installation has finished it will go from saying installing to installed. Open the Start menu and search for CapCut, then select it to open it. When you have just installed CapCut for the first time it will say Testing Environment. This process is to ensure that your computer meets the requirements of CapCut.
Once the process has finished click the Confirm button to continue. Doing so will open CapCut. Additionally, you may also get a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy window appear. If this happens then you will need to read the terms of service and privacy policy, then click the Agree and Continue button to start using CapCut.
You can click the Create Project button at the top to start using CapCut without signing in. However, you can also click the Sign In button in the top left to sign in to your account. If you choose to get CapCut Pro then you will need to sign in before doing so. Additionally, if you already have CapCut Pro then signing in will give you access to all of the Pro features.
Once you downloaded CapCut on PC or Laptop it’s always a good idea to edit your project settings before beinging to edit. Typically you will want to change the frame rate to 60, and may want to change the resolution as well. This can be done by going to the Details panel and clicking the Modify button. After making the changes you will then need to click the Save button to confirm your changes.
