How to Reverse Video in CapCut – Rewind Effect
2In this video I show you how to reverse video in CapCut. To reverse a video in CapCut PC you can right-click on it in the timeline, then select Edit and Reverse. Alternatively, if you have the clip selected you can also press the reverse button on the toolbar. Once done the video will process to reverse the video.
Additionally, I also show you how to do a rewind effect using the reverse feature. When doing this effect the video will play forward, then rewind at a point before playing again. Alternatively, rather than playing again you can switch the clips after the reversed clip has finished.
To make a rewind effect in CapCut you will need to split the video where you want the reverse to start. Once done copy the clip before the split and paste it to duplicate the clip. Move the clip to where the split is then click the reverse button on the toolbar. Doing this will replay the original clip in reverse to rewind that was just shown. You can then duplicate the original clip again and place it after the reversed clip to have the video play. Alternatively, you can switch the clip entirely.
