The best method involves two main steps: ensuring your audio output is set to your TV and then selecting the controller's microphone as your input device.
Step 1: Set Audio Output to Your TV
Press the PS button on your DualSense controller to open the Control Center at the bottom of the screen.
Navigate to the Sound card (it looks like a speaker icon).
Select "Audio Output."
From the list, make sure "HDMI Device (TV)" is selected as the output device. This ensures all game and chat audio is routed to your TV speakers.
Note: If a headset is connected, the PS5 might automatically switch the audio output to the headset. You will need to manually change it back to the TV.
