How to Connect PS5 Controller to Android Phone with Bluetooth Pairing (Best Method)
To connect a PS5 DualSense controller to an Android phone, you'll need to enable Bluetooth pairing mode on the controller and then connect it from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Step 1: Put the PS5 Controller in Pairing Mode
Ensure the PS5 controller is turned off. If it is on, press and hold the PlayStation (PS) button in the center until the light bar turns off.
Press and hold the PS button and the Create button (located to the left of the touchpad) at the same time.
Continue holding both buttons until the light bar on the controller starts flashing blue. This indicates it's in pairing mode and ready to be discovered.
Step 2: Connect the Controller to Your Android Phone
On your Android phone, go to Settings. You can usually find this by swiping down from the top of your screen and tapping the gear icon.
Navigate to Connected devices or Bluetooth settings.
Tap "Pair new device."
Your phone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Look for "DualSense Wireless Controller" in the list and tap on it.
The controller's light bar will turn a solid color once it's successfully connected, and your Android phone will confirm the pairing.
