How to Get the Magical Shield - The Legend of Zelda First Quest 100% Walkthrough
62Throughout Hyrule there are many places that you can buy a Magical Shield, however, the price differs depending on the shop. The price can be either 90, 130, or 160 Rupees. This video shows how to get the shield at one of the 90 Rupee locations. To see all locations where you can buy a Magical Shield then see the video linked down below. A Magical Shield can be bought at this location during both the First & Second Quests.
The specific shop that I show in the video is not the closest one to the starting point or even the closest one that sells it for 90 Rupees for that matter, however, the other 2 shops that sell it for 90 Rupees require you to have a candle. This path only requires that you have the Stepladder from Level 4. If you have a candle then I recommend you watch the aforementioned video linked below.
To reach this shop from the starting screen, go right 1 screen, up 5 screens, & left 2 screens. At the far left of the screen on the north wall is a flat part. Drop a bomb in the middle of this flat part to reveal a cave. Enter the cave & buy the shield.
