How to Get the Magical Sword Using the Warp (First Quest) - The Legend of Zelda 100% Walkthrough
14This shows how to get the Magical Sword during the First Quest using the warp shortcut. The Magical Sword is the 3rd & strongest sword in the game doing double the damage of the White Sword (and 4 times the Wooden Sword). The only requirement to qualify for this sword is that Link's maximum health must be at least 12 hearts. You don't even need to have the White Sword first.
This route is by far the fastest way to reach the sword, but it requires having the Power Bracelet. If you do not yet have it then you can see the video linked below for help on getting it. Having said that the Power Bracelet is very close to the Magical Sword so in all honesty you might just prefer to follow 1 of the other 2 normal routes to get this sword; videos showing both of these routes can be found linked below. One of the routes requires having the Stepladder from Level 4 while the other route requires nothing to reach the sword.
To get to the Magical Sword using the warp then (from the starting screen) go right 2 screens and you should see 4 rock structures in a group. Push the left rock either up or down and a staircase will appear. Go down the stairs & you'll be greeted by an Old Man & 3 more staircases. Choose the middle staircase. From here, go down 1 screen, left 2 screens, & up 1 screen.
You should now be in the northeast corner of the graveyard. Stand in front of the gravestone that is in the middle row and 2nd from the right and push up onto it. The gravestone should move up & reveal a staircase. Go down it & get the sword from the Old Man.
