Minecraft XRay texture packs are super simple to install, and they work with vanilla Minecraft meaning that you don’t need to install any mods or anything like that in order to add XRay 1.16.4 to Minecraft. Thus, without anymore delay, here is how to add Minecraft XRay to 1.16.4!
The first step of getting XRay for Minecraft 1.16.4 is actually downloading it. You can find the download link for the Minecraft XRay texture pack in the description above. That like will actually take you to our website where you will see a yellow ‘Download XRay Ultimate’ button. Click, and you will be taken to the XRay Ultimate resource pack download page. The reason for this is that XRay Ultimate is actually the XRay resource pack we will be installing in Minecraft 1.16.4.
Once you are on the XRay Ultimate download page, look at the right-hand side bar. Scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see a version of the XRay resource pack. Click the purple download button to the left of this version. Your download will start after a few seconds. You may need to save/keep the file depending on your browser, but this isn’t common with XRay texture packs.
Now that you have XRay Ultimate downloaded, it is time to learn how to install XRay in Minecraft 1.16.4. This is actually very simple. Just open up Minecraft, and from the main menu, click on ‘options’, and click on ‘Resource Packs’. From here, it’s super simple. Click the ‘Open Pack Folder’ button in the bottom left of the screen. A folder will now open. To install the XRay resource pack in Mineraft 1.16.4, just drag-and-drop it into this folder. It’s that easy.
Now, if you go back to Minecraft, you will see the ‘XRay Ultimate’ texture pack in the ‘Available Resource Pack’ section. Hover over this, and you will see an arrow pointing to the right. Click that, and and click done at the bottom of the screen. Xray is now installed in Minecraft 1.16.4. You will also want to click on video settings and turn off smooth lighting. Installing Optifine via the link in the description above is also recommended.
