It is also worth mentioning that this can be done with both texture packs and resource packs as they are the exact same thing in Minecraft PC. So, without any more delay, here is how to add resource packs to Minecraft 1.16.4 on PC!
The first step of getting a Minecraft texture packs is actually downloading a texture pack. You can find a link in the description above to our website where you can see 15 different resource packs that are all updated and working in Minecraft 1.16.4. The down process for each of these backs is different. However, in this video we show you a few different websites and things to look for when downloading resource packs in Minecraft 1.16.4. Specifically, we install Faithful, Sphax PureBDCraft, Pixagraph, and LB Photo Realism all in Minecraft 1.16.4.
Once you have your resource packs downloaded, it is time to learn how to install texture packs in Minecraft 1.16.4. This is actually really easy. Just open up Minecraft 1.16.4. From the main menu, click ‘options’, and then select ‘Resource Packs’. Remember resource packs and texture packs are the same thing in Minecraft 1.16.4.
On this menu, click the ‘Open Pack Folder’ button in the bottom center left of the screen. This will open up your resource packs folder. Now, to install texture packs in Minecraft PC 1.16.4, just drag-and-drop the resource packs you want to install into this folder. It is that simple and that easy. When you come back to Minecraft, you will see all of the Minecraft 1.16.4 texture packs you installed listed in the ‘available’ resource packs section.
To actually enable texture packs in Minecraft 1.16.4, hover over the little image on the right side of them, and click the grey arrow that appears. This will move it to the ‘selected resource packs’ section. You can now click ‘done’ in the bottom of the screen, and Minecraft will reload installing your resource pack.
It is also possible to change texture packs in game in Minecraft 1.16.4. Just hit escape on your keyboard and use the arrows that appear on the images to move resource to and from the ‘selected’ tab. When you click done, Minecraft will reload and your new texture pack will be active.
