WorldEdit 1.16.4 is truly a versatile mod that, in my opinion, is a must have for any builder. So, here is how to download and install WorldEdit for Minecraft 1.16.4!
The first step of getting World Edit 1.16.4 is actually downloading and installing Forge. Forge is the mod loader that WorldEdit uses to World with Minecraft. You can find our in-depth guide on downloading, installing, and setting up Forge for Minecraft 1.16.4 in the description above. It has all of the information you need to in order to get Forge. It even goes over some of the issues you may have when installing Forge, so no matter what, that tutorial will help you out!
Once you have Forge, it is time to learn how to download WorldEdit 1.16.4 for Minecraft! This process is pretty simple. Just click the WorldEdit download link in the description above. When you do that, it will take you to our website. This is our text tutorial on adding World Edit to Minecraft. From here, scroll down and click the yellow ‘Download WorldEdit’ button.
This will take you to World Edit’s official download page. To download WorldEdit, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see a version of WorldEdit for Minecraft 1.16.4 Forge. Make sure you are downloading the Forge version of WorldEdit. After finding this version, click the purple download button to the right of it. WorldEdit 1.16.4 will download after a few seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.
We can now move on to learning how to install WorldEdit in Minecraft 1.16.4. The first step of this process is hitting the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the same time. This will open the Run application. In this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. That will open your Roaming folder. In this folder, you will find a .minecraft folder. Open the .minecraft folder, and you should see a mods folder. If you don’t see a mods folder, create one. Open the mods folder. Now, all you need to do to install World Edit in Minecraft 1.16.4 is drag-and-drop WorldEdit into this folder.
You aren’t completely done though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, click on the Forge version here, and click play. Minecraft 1.16.4 will now open up with World Edit installed!
