About this video: In this video, we show you exactly how to download and install resource packs in Minecraft Bedrock Edition for iOS, Windows, and Android. This will allow you to get Minecraft Bedrock texture packs for completely free no matter which platform you are playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on. By the way, in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, texture packs and resource packs are the exact same thing. Thus, we are going to be using those terms interchangeably. Nevertheless, let's go ahead and jump right on into how to download and install resource packs in Minecraft Bedrock Edition!
First things first, you will need to download your resource pack. Now keep in mind that you need to use Minecraft Bedrock compatible resource packs for this tutorial work. The good news is that we have a list of 5 incredible Minecraft Bedrock texture packs linked in the description above. Once you are there, find the resource pack you want, and click the green download button under that pack. You will then be taken to its download page. Every download process is different from this point just make sure you are downloading the Minecraft Bedrock version of the resource pack.
After the resource pack is downloaded, it should be a .mcpack file. If it is not, you downloaded the wrong version of the resource pack. Go back and make sure you downloaded the Bedrock version. However, it is very easy to install resource packs in Minecraft Bedrock Edition once they are downloaded. All you need to do is double click on them. They will then, on Windows and Android, open up with Minecraft and install. You can then go to settings and select them in your global resources.
On iOS though, you will need to go the files tab. Then, you will need to find the Bedrock texture pack you downloaded. Then, you want to move this to the ‘On My iPhone’ section. Then select Minecraft, games, com.mojang, resource_packs, folder. Finally, you will be able to load up Minecraft on iOS and your resource pack will be installed!
From there, you can select the resource packs in ‘Global Resources’ section in your Minecraft Bedrock Settings!
