How to Lock Apps on Your iPhone (iOS 18 or Later)
Starting with iOS 18, you can lock apps with Face ID (or your passcode) quickly. Here’s how:

Locate the App:
Find the app you want to lock on your Home Screen or in the App Library (swipe left to access).

Lock the App:

Press and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
Tap Require Face ID (or Require Passcode if Face ID isn’t set up).
Confirm by selecting Require Face ID in the pop-up. You may also see an option to Hide and Require Face ID, which locks and removes the app from the Home Screen.

Authenticate:

The app will now require Face ID (or passcode) to open. When you tap the app, authenticate with Face ID to access it.
