How to Hide App on iPhone in Hidden Folder (100% Works)
To hide an app on your iPhone in a Hidden folder, you can use the native feature introduced in iOS 18 (or later), which allows you to hide apps and secure them with Face ID or a passcode in a dedicated Hidden folder in the App Library. If you’re on an older iOS version, you can simulate hiding apps by organizing them in folders or using other methods. Below are the steps for both scenarios.
Method 1: Hide Apps in the Hidden Folder with Face ID/Passcode (iOS 18 or Later)
Locate the App:
Find the app you want to hide on your Home Screen or in the App Library (swipe left to access).
Hide and Lock the App:
Press and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
Tap Require Face ID (or Require Passcode if Face ID isn’t set up).
Select Hide and Require Face ID (or Hide and Require Passcode) in the pop-up.
The app will be removed from the Home Screen and moved to the Hidden folder in the App Library.
Access the Hidden App:
Swipe left to the App Library.
Scroll to the Hidden folder (it appears at the bottom or within the App Library).
Tap the app icon and authenticate with Face ID or your passcode to open it.
Unhide the App (if needed):
In the App Library, locate the app in the Hidden folder or use the search bar.
Tap and hold the app icon, then select Add to Home Screen or drag it to the Home Screen.
To remove the Face ID/passcode lock, go to Settings - Accessibility - Face ID & Attention (or Settings - Face ID & Passcode), find the app under Other Apps, and toggle off Require Face ID or Require Passcode.
