How to Pair a Remote to FIRESTICK if you LOST IT using PHONE (Easy Method)
0To pair a new Firestick remote when you've lost the old one, using your phone, follow these steps:
Prepare the New Remote:
Confirm the new remote is compatible with your Fire TV model (check Amazon’s product page).
Insert fresh AAA batteries (usually two) in the correct orientation.
Download the Fire TV App:
Install the Amazon Fire TV app on your phone (available on iOS or Android).
Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Firestick.
Set Up the App as a Remote:
Open the Fire TV app and select your Fire TV device from the list.
If prompted, enter the 4-digit code displayed on your TV screen to connect.
Use the app’s virtual remote to navigate (swipe for directions, tap to select).
Pair the New Remote:
