The most straightforward and generally best method to record your screen on an Android phone (running Android 11 or newer) is using the built-in screen recorder found in the Quick Settings panel.

Steps to Screen Record on Android
Open Quick Settings: Swipe down twice from the very top of your phone screen to fully open the Quick Settings panel.

Locate the Screen Recorder: Look for an icon typically labeled "Screen record" or a similar phrase, often shaped like a video camera or circle inside a square.

Note: You may need to swipe left or right on the Quick Settings pages to find it. If you still don't see it, you may need to tap the pencil icon (Edit) and drag the "Screen record" tile from the list of available buttons into your active Quick Settings.

Tap the Icon: Tap the Screen record icon. A prompt will appear allowing you to adjust settings.

Configure Settings (Optional): You can typically choose the audio source (e.g., no sound, device audio, or device audio and microphone) and whether to show touches on screen.

Start Recording: Tap "Start" or "Start recording." A short countdown will begin.

Perform your actions: Once the countdown finishes, your phone will record everything on the screen. A control panel (or a notification) will be visible, which is often not included in the final video.

Stop Recording: To stop, swipe down from the top of the screen again and tap the "Stop" button on the screen recording notification or control panel.

View Your Recording: The video file is automatically saved, usually to your Gallery or Google Photos app in a "Movies" or "Screen recordings" folder. A notification will often pop up that you can tap to view the saved video immediately.
