How to Set a Screen Time Limit on your LG TV with Family Settings (Child Lock)
To set a screen time limit on an LG TV with Family Settings (also known as Time Limit or Parental Control features on some models), follow these steps:
Turn on the TV.
Access the Settings Menu:
Press the Settings button on the LG remote.
Go to All Settings (or just Settings on some models).
Open General Settings:
In the All Settings menu, select General.
Go to Safety or Family Settings:
Select Safety or Family Settings. (Note: If you don’t see these options, look for Parental Controls or Lock settings instead.)
Enable Safety/Parental Control:
If prompted, enter your PIN code (default PIN is often 0000 or 1234, but you may have set a custom one).
Toggle Safety or Parental Controls to On.
Set a Screen Time Limit:
Within the Family or Safety settings, locate Time Limits or Screen Time Limit.
Choose the time limit you’d like to set per day or specify a viewing time range.
Save and Exit:
Save the settings and exit. Your TV will now limit screen time based on the rules you set.
