How to Transfer iPhone WhatsApp Messages to Android using Device Link
Install WhatsApp on Android:
Download WhatsApp from the Google Play Store on the Android phone and ensure it’s updated.
Open WhatsApp on Android:
Launch WhatsApp, select your language, and stop at the phone number entry screen (don’t enter a number).
Access Linking Option on Android:
Tap Link to existing account (may appear as a three-dot menu option).
A QR code will display on the Android screen.
Link Using iPhone (Primary):
On the iPhone, open WhatsApp.
Go to Settings - Linked Devices - Link a device.
Scan the QR code on the Android phone with the iPhone’s camera.
Alternative (Phone Number Linking):
If QR scanning isn’t possible, on Android, select Link with phone number instead after choosing Link to existing account.
Enter the iPhone’s WhatsApp phone number.
Receive a one-time passcode on the iPhone (via SMS or WhatsApp) and enter it on the Android.
Syncing:
WhatsApp will sync recent chats, contacts, and groups to the Android. Sync time depends on your internet connection.
