How to Call Anyone Without showing Your Phone Number (100% Works!)
To call someone without showing your phone number on a Samsung phone, you can make your number private in minutes using these methods:
1. Use a Caller ID Blocking Code (30 seconds)
How: Open the Phone app and dial *67 before the number (e.g., *67-555-123-4567). In some regions or with certain carriers (e.g., AT&T), use #31# instead.
Effect: Your number appears as "Private," "Blocked," or "Unknown" for that call. The recipient sees no identifiable number.
Notes:
Works for both smartphones and landlines.
Must be dialed for each call.
May not work for 911 or toll-free numbers (e.g., 800 numbers).
Check your country’s code (e.g., 141 in the UK) if *67 doesn’t work.
2. Hide Number for All Calls via Settings (1-2 minutes)
How:
Open the Phone app.
Tap the three dots (top-right) - Settings.
Select Supplementary services - Show Caller ID.
Choose Hide number or Never.
Effect: Your number is hidden for all outgoing calls until you change it back.
Notes:
Menu names may vary (e.g., “Additional settings” or “Caller ID”). Search “Caller ID” in Settings if needed.
To temporarily show your number, dial *82 before the number (U.S.).
Some carriers (e.g., Verizon) may not support this feature; contact them if the option is greyed out.
