How to Turn on Wifi Calling on iPhone to get Better Signal (Better Phone Call Quality)
Wi-Fi calling on an iPhone allows you to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network, improving signal quality in areas with weak cellular coverage. Here’s how to turn it on in minutes:
Enable Wi-Fi Calling (1-2 minutes):
Open Settings - Phone.
Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
Toggle Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone to On (green).
If prompted, confirm or enter your address for emergency services (required by some carriers).
Once enabled, you’ll see “Wi-Fi” next to your carrier name in the status bar when Wi-Fi calling is active.
Connect to a Wi-Fi Network (1 minute):
Go to Settings - Wi-Fi.
Toggle Wi-Fi to On and connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong for the best call quality.
Optional: Prioritize Wi-Fi Calling (1 minute):
In Settings - Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions).
Tap Wi-Fi Calling (if available) and select Wi-Fi Preferred to prioritize Wi-Fi over cellular when both are available.
