To adjust the display area screen size on your PS4 console (ensuring the image fits properly on your TV screen), follow these steps:
Turn on Your PS4: Start your PS4 and make sure it’s connected to your TV via HDMI.

Go to Settings: From the PS4 home screen, scroll up to the top menu and select "Settings" (the toolbox icon).

Select Sound and Screen: In the Settings menu, scroll down and choose "Sound and Screen."

Choose Display Area Settings: Scroll down and select "Display Area Settings."

Adjust the Screen Size:
You’ll see a screen with a gray border and adjustable corners. Use the directional buttons or left analog stick on your controller to move the edges of the display area.

Shrink or expand the screen until the border fits just inside the edges of your TV screen, ensuring no content is cut off and the image isn’t too small.

The goal is to align the outer edges of the gray box with the visible boundaries of your TV display.
