From the PS4 home screen or while in a game, find the moment you want to capture. Press the Share button on your controller, just a quick tap. Select Screenshot from the Share menu. The PS4 will capture the image and save it automatically.

Customize Screenshot Settings
To adjust how screenshots work, go to Settings. Select Sharing and Broadcasts. Choose Screenshot Settings. Here you can pick the image format, like JPEG or PNG. You can also decide if pressing the Share button takes a screenshot immediately or opens the menu.

Take a Quick Screenshot
For faster captures, hold the Share button for about one second instead of tapping it. This takes a screenshot right away without opening the menu, but you’ll need to enable this in Settings under Sharing and Broadcasts, then Share Button Control Type, and set it to Easy Screenshots.
View Your Pictures

Go to the home screen and select Capture Gallery. Find your screenshots under the game’s name or in the All section. Press the Options button on a screenshot to share, copy to a USB, or delete it.
